Central Register

The Central Register (Church Registry Office) deals with many practical matters related to the parish members' lives. The Central Register is the place where you go if you need to settle matters related to baptism and registration, reserving a grave plot or a chapel for a burial or agree on the time of cremation, and sign a grave tending agreement.

If at least one person of a couple intending to marry is a member of the Evangelical Lutheran parishes in Tampere, the related investigation can be carried out by the Central Register.

also issues extracts from the parish registry as well as accounts of ancestry and genealogy. The Central Register is also responsible for maintaining and using the membership registers of the parishes.

The Central Register is located at the office building of the Evangelical Lutheran parishes, Näsilinnankatu 26, street level.
